Click on the Camera Videochat Icon to start a new session

Find the small camera icon on the top bar to open a new videochat session.  This will open a new videochat room to which you can invite your counterparts.

Enter the phone number or the email address of your counterpart

To invite your counterpart into the telehealth session, type their smartphone’s number or enter their email address into the provided box.  Select the address or hit enter to send the invitation to your counterpart.

Wait for your counterpart to click on the link

Updox will either email or text the secure link for the session room to your counterpart.  Your camera’s video feed will be displayed along the bottom right of your screen for laptops and tablets or the top right for smartphones.

Your counterpart will have ten minutes to accept the invitation.  You can cancel and send additional invitations as required.

Telehealth Session Ready

Once your counterpart accepts the invitation, their video feed should immediately be displayed in the main field.  Your video chat session is now ready.

Closing and Recording Session Notes

Remember to add session-specific notes as necessary.

Once your telehealth session is complete, Updox will record session logs, including timestamps and chat contents, for future reference.  No further action is required.
